April Daily Habit Tracker | Day 17

It’s now April. The air is a little lighter. The sun a bit brighter. Realizing we have at least another 30 days inside, I had to make a new schedule.

My last quarantine daily routine tracked more than I needed [ food and times }. Time is beginning to get blurry. As for food, I’m not starving so we’re good.

A daily routine tracking only my habits gets me where wanna be each day-

Balance, productivity, sanity.

I should’ve realized tracking my habits each day was the way to go since they’ve been beneficial in the past and I sell a habit tracker template right on this website

It wasn’t until I saw Franchesca Ramsey create her own habit tracker that I was reminded of its potential.

Come out of isolation better than you went in with daily scheduling #ready4rona

Day 1 | LOST IN THE SAUCE

Emotional, confused about the information being spread. What to do next? What to do with my investments? What to do about work? Where should the kids go? How should we spend the day? Do I have everything we need? Scroll, scroll. Think. Feel defeated. See what everyone else is doing.

Breathe.

Hear a voice within. Gain back control of your life.

Day 2 | FRESH PERSPECTIVE

What do I want from this time?
How could I use this time for my benefit?
How can I adapt and evolve during this time?
What do I have control of?
My time.

I’m not here to tell you how to use your time. I’m hear to tell you to decide for yourself how you want to use your time.

I made a list of how I want to use mine:
fasting, eating healthy, doing what I’m passionate about, time with family, reading, sleeping, creating, connecting, loving, learning something new

It’s much easier to oversleep or binge watch videos [ on any platform ] than to do the things mentioned. Simply because it’s easier to escape than to be intentional. That’s why I’m doing a few things to support my intentions.

2020 Year Map

when do I make the time to live this life, produce these things?

Not only do I need to find the time to act but also how to enjoy the journey. That is what life is, a journey. Not a race or project but a very, very long walk.

It’s more natural for me to make transitions through the day based on my energy level instead of numbers on a clock.

I’ve never seen anyone move successfully to the clock. I’ve seen stressful, constant watching of the clock. Others trying to beat the clock.

Never moving along side it with pleasure or ease.

Now that I’m fully in the world and maturing as a human being, I realize these numbers are measuring something valuable and precious.

Maybe that’s why we stress over it and feel disrespected when it’s not valued.

What we do with our time reflects in how we live our lives.

How we spend each minute totals our lifetime.

This idea is sinking in deeper as I explore what kind of life I want to live, and what I want to produce while I’m here.

As these ideas are become clearer, the question is now

when do I make the time to live this life, produce these things?

Not only do I need to find the time to act but also how to enjoy the journey. That is what life is, a journey. Not a race or project but a very, very long walk.

I want to feel my experiences and appreciate them by myself and with others.

I want a full life.

Not a life full of things taking up time, but a life capable of creating time.

THIS YEAR

I’m exploring how to create time by breaking down lifetime aspirations into a yearly map.

2020 Year map_time management

2020 year map

What a year of my choosing would look like.

I then took these elements and broke it up into monthly actions. Which is my year map. I made you one too.

Each of us are the masters of our fate. If we don’t take the time to own it, someone else certainly will.
